How Can Hypothyroidism Be Treated?

Yes I was diagnosed hypothyroidism with in large thyroid gland I had a biopsy and it is negative and the doctor thinks I still need have it removed but I m not having any problems breathing swallowing or speaking and I m just wondering what to do my hormones are levels are normal. Undecided do not want to have surgery if it s not necessary at this time 58 years old with Heart condition had a triple bypass nine years ago otherwise very healthy
