How Can Hypothyroidism Be Treated?

I am a 68 year old female diagnosed with hypothyroidism. What is considered a dose that is too high for my age. I weigh 180 if that plays a part in determining what dose I should take. I am currently on 88mcg and my lab test results has consistently been low for about a year. Thank you.
