I just started taking Levothyroxine the dose is 25 for hypothyroid and I am on week 4 and I still feel very light headed most of the time. I have blood work scheduled in 3 weeks and a follow up with my doctor. I have been out of work on short term dis as I can t seem to function properly and I care for the seniors. What to do as I am feeling helpless ??? Thank you, Joan
Hello, Thank you for trusting HealthcareMagic for your health concern
Please be advised to continue taking the current dose and get TSH levels checked as scheduled. If TSH level is high at that time, increase in size of levothyroxine is necessary. Also, get your hemoglobin and blood pressure evaluated since you are complaining of light-headedness too.
