How Can Inappropriate Masturbation Be Stopped In A Dementia Patient?

My 93 year old mother has advancing dementia but is still in her home with 24 care givers. In the past few weeks she has had problems with bladder control, but the real problem is that she has begun to touch herself (masturbate) in inappropriate situations. Is ther anything we can do about this? Is this common for dementia patients? Thank you
