Hello
Welcome to health care magic

It seems you have gastro oesophageal reflux disease associated with IBS.IBS is a condition affecting large intestine. It may not be a directly causing GERD but can be associated with it.
You may also need to review with your doctor about any anti inflammatory medicines you must be taking for IBS.These medicines may enhance gastric reflux.

If I were your treating doctor,I recommend,
-Taking PPIs like omeprazole for 1 month.
_Avoiding alcohol, smoking, high fat content, hot, spicy food, carbonated and caffeinated drinks. These may excaberate the symptoms.
-Keep body weight within control by regular exercising.
-Drink plenty of water.
-Keep a gap of atleast 3 hours after your last meals and before going to bed.
If the symptoms donot lesssen in 7 days consult with gastro enterologist. He /She may advice you investigations like upper GI endoscopy and X ray barium meal oesophagus to confirm the diagnosis and assess its severity.

Hope this information helps.
