How Can Infections Be Tested On Repeated Usage Of Needles On Different People?

Hello, I was receiving sclerotherapy injections on my legs for veins. My doctor accidentally pricked his finger with the tiny needle he was using on me. He continued using that same needle on me that he pricked his finger with. He didn t say anything, and neither did I, but after he quickly yanked his finger away from the prick, I was looking at his gloved hands. His ring finger began to bleed under his glove at the puncture sight. Although the needle he was using is very tiny, I am now concerned with us essentially sharing a needle. I don t know if any of his blood got on it, since it was a fast prick, but I am concerned. I do realize he would be more at risk from me, since my blood was in and on the needle, but I am wondering if I could be at any risk from him? He is an experienced vascular surgeon, and I wouldn t think he would put me at any risk as his patient, but I need reassurance. Thanks

HI
Well come to HCM
This is not that much risky if either of you does not have any viral kind of infection ideally needle need to be changed if this was pricked to doctor prior to inject you, but this was done after he inject you then there could be chances of infection to doctor just a local kind of swelling at the prick site, and care need to be taken for infection, else this is nothing to worry, take care.
