Hi,

The use of these medications and their efficacy will depend of the cause of the infertility. Prolifen can stimulate the ovulation so may be used in infertility but only if the problem is related to you having eggs but not ovulating. You will need to first have some tests to rule out that you are not in menopause and they do an evaluation of your periods, a LH urinary test can be used in the day 14 of the cycle or a progesteron test in day 21 to check if you are ovulating. If you are ovulating these treatments are not needed.
If you are ovulating you will need to have a HSG to check if your tubes are functional and also your partner will need to do a sperm test. According to the results treatment can be further decided.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
