General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi
Thanks for posting on HCM
The treatment of infertility depends on the cause.I will advise you see your Gynecologist to investigate the cause.
Infertility causes can affect one or both partners. In general:
-In about one-third of cases, there is an issue with the male.
-In about one-third of cases, there is an issue with the female.
-In the remaining cases, there are issues with both the male and female, or no cause can be identified.
Possible causes may include:
1. Male causes
*Abnormal sperm production or function
*Problems with the delivery of sperm
*Overexposure to certain environmental factors like pesticides and other chemicals, and radiation. Cigarette smoking, alcohol, marijuana ....
2. Female causes
*Ovulation disorders
*Uterine or cervical abnormalities
*Fallopian tube damage or blockage
*Endometriosis
*Primary ovarian insufficiency
*Pelvic adhesions
*Pelvic masses
I will suggest you see the Doctor for an extensive investigation of the possible cause.
Your treatment will depend on: What's causing the infertility, How long you've been infertile, Your age and your partner's age, Personal preferences.
Possible treatment options that may be helpful may include:
- for your husband: Altering lifestyle factors, Medications that boost sperm production, Surgery, Sperm retrieval
-Options that may be exploited for you may include: Stimulating ovulation with fertility drugs, Intrauterine insemination, Surgery to restore fertility, Assisted reproductive technology.
If need be, other options like adoption, donor sperm or egg, donor embryo, gestational carrier may be considered.
Just see your Doctor for investigation.
Hope this will help
Wish you success
