How Can Inflamed Papillae Be Treated?

Just got over a sinus infection and strep throat. had a perscription of Azrythromisin (Z-Pack) followed by 875 mg Amoxicillian. My tongue turned white but I am told I have inflamed paillae. My Dentist confirmed it today. What is the best treatment?

Hello

welcome in H.C.M.

I have gone through your query regarding sinus infection followed by pappilary inf of tongue.

Though you are taking treatment for sinus infection and get youself examined by dentist as well it is very rare to face such a problem but now you may add following in your treatment with concent of your treating doctor-

1- Anti inflammatory.

2- Antiseptic mouth wsh.

3- local application of oral gel containing antifungal and steroids.

You should also investigate yourself for diabetes.

Probably above will help you.

Regards.
