How Can Ingrown Hair On The Face And Head Be Removed?

Hello. my son, age 34, gets an abundance of ingrown hairs on his face and head. He shaves all of it!! One has become very swollen to the point his right side of his face, on the upper cheek, looks enlarged. how should he treat it. I gave him witch hazel and steroid cream.

Hello dear, thank you for using Healthcaremagic. I read your query and understand your concern. In order to get rid of ingrown hair he has to peel the skin . There are different ways of it. He can try using salicylic acid at the skin as a chemical peeling or baking soda as mechanical peeling and for better results to combine it with lemon juice. Don't shave for some time in order to let the skin regenerate. Best regards.
