Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I had both my shoulders replaced about 6 years ago. I m certain I have torn my rotator cuffs again which cannot again be repaired. The suggestion was to have reverse shoulders done. I was wondering if there was any other suggestion then reversing the shoulders. I tried therapy and no luck. Sure wish there was a artificial rotator cuff or Garda or to be used.
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
Get an MRI scan done to find out the severity of the injury. Surgical correction is required and you can go for an arthroscopic repair or an open procedure. Consult an orthopedician and he will direct you accordingly.
Wishing you good health.
Thanks.
