Your problem is due to addiction to alcohol. As you are a chronic alcoholic, it will be difficult for you to omit alcohol suddenly. Alcohol causes different types of psychological problems such as loss of sleep, depression, jealousy, depression, aggression etc. unless you leave alcohol, you won’t get rid of you sleep problem. Getting rid of alcohol is not difficult. De-addiction center is available to help you. You can visit any alcohol de-addiction center or consult any well reputed psychiatrist of your area. He/she will help you. A strong willpower is needed from your part also.
Advice
1.     Zolpidem at bed time per oral for 30 days
2.     Do not use Zolpidem for more than 30 days
3.     Avoid driving & swimming because it may impair ability to drive or operate machinery
4.     Stop smoking, alcohol and coffee as it might impair your sleep
5.     Try to have time for exercise. Start workout at least half an hour in a day for 5 days in a week. It will induce sleep
6.     Stay with your family and discuss your problem with them
I hope this information will help you. I will be happy if you ask another question
Thanks
