How Can Insomnia And Anxiety While On Claritan D Be Treated?

I have been taking claritan D now for 7 days. It is keeping me awake at night, and causes me to feel as though I am spe eeding. I want to stop taking it but not sure what over the coun ter meds I shoould take . This is the first time I have had allergies. during times of the day and night I have so much drainage that I can hardly swallow. What would you recommed.

You are right these effects can be seen sometimes with this drug. I would suggest you should manage the drug. There are many more antiallergic drugs that may work well. If it's side effects are bothering you, you can always change the drugs wit advice of your doctor. Piriton (Chlorphenamine) can induce sleep and may be more calming effect.
