I am suffering from insomnia for the past 4 nights. i was given a cortisol injection last Thursday for severe i flammation due to SLE, etc. i am also in the process of switching from Prozac 20 mg daily to Cymblata 20 mg. I completed my titration from Prozac 4 weeks ago. Any thoughts on insomnia at this point. Yes, i do have a full life interruptions like all.

Hi,

Since it's been only 4 nights, for short term management of your sleeping issue you may take Zolpidem before going to bed. However if the issue becomes a persistent one, since you are taking antidepressants you may speak with your doctor about the possibility of using an antidepressant with sedating properties like Mirtazapine or Amitriptyline.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
