How Can Internal Bleeding Be Diagnosed?

Bleeding internally and the doctors can t figure out where it s coming from. 2-3 upper scopes (found ulcer but fixed and doctor said not the cause of this). Colonoscopy was completely clear. Required 4 units of blood. Where is the blood coming from?

Hello,

Micro bleeding can happen without the notice of the surgeon. He should have evaluated you from malignancy. Maybe a biopsy around the ulcer would have demonstrated that. Colonoscopy is advisable only if the symptoms are progressing. Check whether you have anemia or worm infestation because even in these cases you will have blood loss.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Archana
