How Can Interstitial Cystitis Be Treated?

I am a 56 year old female in generally good health. I am experiencing an Interstitial Cystitis flair going on two weeks now. My problem is that my heart rate is elevated to approximately 100 to 110 beats a minute, even when I am sitting quietly or laying down. I am not having any pain other than from my IC flair. I am very concerned.
