How Can Intestinal Pin-worm Infestation Be Treated?

I took two doses of albenza because my daughter had pinworms. It has been five days since the second dose taken two weeks after first dose. I didn t think I had them until I found a dead worm in my underwear. Do I have to wait to start another round of medication? or does it take longer to kill them all? I have family coming to a party tomorrow. I am concerned they will get them. I also baked and feel uncomfortable about serving food I cooked. We have washed clothing and bedding daily. Also cleaned non stop and my hands are dry from constant washing. It s discouraging.

Hello,

So we tend to prescribe two doses a weeks apart.
You can take another dose to get them rid of.

Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
