How Can Irregular Menstrual Cycles Causing Discomfort And Weight Gain Be Treated?

Doctor, I have irregular menstrual cycles two times a month, my gynaec advised me to take femilon, i had for 7 months, I have also put on weight. An important thing is its been one and half month I stopped taking femilon I have not got cycles. This gives me lot of discomfort. Kindly suggest.
