General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello dear
I understand your concern
Irregular menstruation could be due to hormonal imbalance, ovarian cyst, endometriosis, adenomyosis, thyroid dysfunction.
I would suggest to consult the gynecologist and undergo reproductive and thyroid hormone analysis, USG scan, ovarian follicle study.
Treatment will depend on the cause.
Birth control pill like novelon will help to regularise the period.
Progesterone also help in the second phase of the cycle.
But all these medicine should be taken under the advice of the gynecologist with regular follow up.
Avoid stress, take healthy diet with more green leafy vegetables and fresh fruits, drink plenty of water and do regular exercise like walking, swimming, running and yoga daily in the morning for 45-60 minutes.
Hope this may help you
