How Can Irregular Menstruation With Mild PCOS Be Regularized?

Hi. i an 32 years old . Have mild PCOS. Married for 5 years and TTC. Husband all normal. My HSP for tube functioning also normal . However, my periods have become very irregular , missing dates for 90 days plus. Hormones are normal and USG also shows mild PCOS and usually no dominant follicle on Day 12 onwards. Have tried clomid ,Femara and injectables. I have been on glucophage since 5 years...1500 mg TDS. But no such positive effect on conception or periods regularity. Is there any better option that could regulate my cycle with minimal side effects? No doctor has ever prescribed Birth control pills , i have heard they work well for PCOS. I am very worried I dont want to go into menopause , my endocrinologoisist is against taking medicines to induce periods. He wants to see how I get them naturally but 3 months!!!
