How Can Irregular Period Be Treated In Order To Conceive?

Dear Doctor,

I appreciate your work. Please I will need your help as I am trying to concieve.

I am 25 years old, 1.68m height and 70kg body weight.

I have been trying to concieve for 6 months now without sucess.

I have had a long record of irregular cycles since August 2008 ranging from 32 to 57 days. Presently, my last menses was on 20th of February 2010 and since then, I have not seen it again.

I went for a hormonal assay test on the 7th of April 2010 with the following result:

S/n Hormone Ref. Value Unit

1. LH 14.3 5 - 20 in/L

2. FSH 5.4 2 - 8 in/L

3. Prolactin 478 40 - 470 min/L

4. Progesteron 6.2 5.227 - 9 ng/L

I also did a High Vaginal Swab (HVS) test on 22/04/2010 with the following results:

1. Pus Cells/Hpf = 0 - 1

2. Rbs/Hpf = 0 - 1

3. Epith Cells/Hpf = 6 - 7

4. Yeast Cells = +

I have done 3 pregnancy tests (2 blood and 1 urine) recently and all turned out negative.

Please kindly advise me on what to do or prescribe drugs for me. Thanks.

Kind Regards,

Joan.
