Hi...I got my period regular when I was taking birth control pills from may to aug....I stopped it for last two months and now my period comes after 45 or 55 days...when will get my period regular?...can I take the pills for another 3 months? Is it useful to regulate my period?
Hello dear I understand your concern First you have to find the cause of the irregular period. It could be due to hormonal imbalance, polycystic ovarian disease, endometriosis, adenomysis, thyroid dysfunction I would suggest to consult the gynecologist and undergo detailed examination, reproductive hormone analysis, USG scan and ovarian follicle study. Specific treatment will depend on the cause You can use the birth control pill to regularize the period but use under the advise of gynecologist Other drugs like progesterone pill can be used Avoid stress, take healthy diet, drink plenty of water Do regular exercise and reduce 10-12% body weight Take more fresh fruits and green leafy vegetables Hope this may help you
