General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello dear
I understand your concern
First you have to find the cause of the irregular period.
It could be due to hormonal imbalance, polycystic ovarian disease, endometriosis, adenomysis, thyroid dysfunction
I would suggest to consult the gynecologist and undergo detailed examination, reproductive hormone analysis, USG scan and ovarian follicle study.
Specific treatment will depend on the cause
You can use the birth control pill to regularize the period but use under the advise of gynecologist
Other drugs like progesterone pill can be used
Avoid stress, take healthy diet, drink plenty of water
Do regular exercise and reduce 10-12% body weight
Take more fresh fruits and green leafy vegetables
Hope this may help you
