Hello I am Oby, thanks for being available, I had the Jadelle implants on since last year April but since then I have been having irregular periods sometimes I see my period every two weeks, the worse now is that I have been suffering from facial reactions for almost 3 months now. I don t know what to do, pls advise me. Is it also ok for me to take antibiotics like tetracycline?
Hi and welcome to Healthcaremagic. Thank you for your query. There are many reasons why some women have heavy periods.
Well, it woul dbe good to reconsider benefit of JAdelle implants since it may cause such changes in periods. Usually there is hormonal imbalance. Every month, a lining builds up inside your uterus (womb), which you shed during your period. If your hormone levels aren’t balanced, your body can make the lining too thick, which leads to heavy bleeding when you shed the thicker lining. Growths in the uterus or polyps are growths within the lining of the uterus and may also interfere with periods and its regularity.
I hope I have answered you query. If you have any further questions you can contact us in every time.
