How Can Irregular Periods Be Treated?

Hello, my name is Samara. I have a question. When I was 11 or 12 years old I first got my period. After that it came only one time. I stayed about 1 year and a half and didn t get a period. I went to an obgyn and they put me on birth control. And my period was good while on the pill I got it every month on the same day. I stayed in birth control for about 2 years. Just recently I decided to get off of them. After getting off The pill I didn t get my period for 2 months I got my period about 2 months after. It s been about 2 months and I still am not regular. A dr told me it would take time to get regulated but I need more optinions. Should I go to another doctor or is this normal?

Please stop worrying about irregular periods at this age.It appears that your irregular periods is mainly due to worry and stress. The more you worry, the more it gets postponed.
In the early stage of reproductive life your body and harmones take time to adjust.
But still,in case it remains so when you reach 18 years, you can go for a thyroid test. But now just relax!
