How Can Irritation In The Eyes Be Treated?

Hello, If a squash leaf poked me in the eye about a week ago, and my eye feels irritated and tears up periodically since this happened, is it possible that I have some of the little prickles from the squash leaf in my eye? I can t see anything in my eye, but then again, I suppose you wouldn t be able to spot them since they are clear.

hi sir/mam you might have small foreign body fragments left in the eye or because of trauma you might have developed infection. I suggest you to refer opthalmologist if no foreign body is there, I would recommend antibiotic eye drops 'ciprofloxacin ' two drops five times a day(3-4hrs interval) for a week. hope I have answered your question. if you have any further questions please let me know
