How Can Irritation In The Gums Of An Infant Be Treated?

My son is 16 months old he is getting Teeth but because of that he is getting motions from 2 days i showed to doctor he gave few medicines to stop motions.but still my son is chewing many things for gums irriations so can I use zytee RB to rub his gums ???

Hi..
Thanks for the query..

Your son is teething and loose motions during teething commonly occurs when the baby continue to put things in mouth that are contaminated in an urge to gratify the itchy sensation of gums that is common during teething..

Zytee RB gel can be applied but in very small amounts and not very frequently and only after a proper prescription by your Dentist..

Also do cool compresses over the gums to reduce inflammation..

You should give properly sterilised and chilled teething ring to your baby to bite on..
Toasted bread can also be given..
Hard foods like carrots can be given to bite on..
