How Can Itching And Burning Sensation In The Vagina Be Treated?
My husband and i have been apart for awhile due to work we finally were able to see each other this past weekend and had a LOT of sex. Now my Vagina is itchy and kind of burning a little bit when i urinate? What the heck is going on?? Can i get something over counter for itch.
The symptoms you are experiencing can either be bacterial, viral, protozoal, yeast infection of the vagina or due to an allergy to condoms/lubricants if used.
Pelvic examination, vaginal swab microscopy, and culture are required to confirm the diagnosis. So, please be advised to follow up with your ob-gyn, treatment will depend on the cause.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Lekshmi Rita Venugopal
