How Can Itching On The Feet Be Treated?

two years back i used to wear kola puri ( leahter Chapal) I didn t care that much and used to wear in wet feet as well as a result i got infection. had so much itching i went to doctor and had treatment but afterwords when ever i wear any kind of shoes that is cover from top i got same itching problem what should i do

Hello and welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

You are probably having contact dermatitis to leather chappals. You can apply betamethsone ointment to the foot for symptomatic relief. If there is itching you can take pheneramine or hydroxyzine.
You can use footwear made of canvas type material whch has got lesser chances for such symptoms.
