Have a friend whose daughter has hashimoto disease. She just had a baby and now has a rash all over and a tsh of 12. She is miserable and trying to breast feed. She is almost ready to stop breast feeding and go on steroids. She is miserable with itching. s

Hi, I think she can take some antihistaminics like cetrizine for itching. Consult a dermatologist. Also consult an endocrinologist for dose adjustment of thyroid medication.
