How Can Jaundice Be Treated?

I am 20 and I was suffering from Jaundice with bilirubin count 9.76. 2 days ago I had my blood test done and report shows TOTAL BILIRUBIN 1 and INDIRECT BILIRUBIN .5. Report shows that required indirect bilirubin should be less than .2. Do I still have to take medicine? Is Jaundice still present? What food can I eat, I had been avoiding all spicy foods.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Don't worry, your jaundice improved now very well. Indirect bilirubin is borderline high in your case. No need for any drug intake. Take sugarcane juice, apple juice, orange juice, coconut water, etc. Avoid high fatty foods.

Green leafy vegetables are to be taken more. Avoid outside food for few days.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Parth Goswami
