How Can Knee Pain Be Treated?

my age is 22 n there is pain in my keen, i have been taken a x ray of keen n suggest a orthopedic doctor he say that there is gap on keen n suggest to rest...... what i do cuz my exam are over a head.........? plzs solve my problem.......... very fast so that i able to concentrated on my exams.
