Psychiatrist 's  Response
Hello thanks for asking from HCM

You have witness a loss of a family member and now you have symptoms of sleeplessness. You are also taking care of your ill grand mother. The grief reaction along with stress due to illness of grandmother have aggravated your symptoms of poor sleep. I would advise you to talk to some family member regarding your symptoms. Expressing your symptoms will result in decrease in some of symptoms of depression and you should feel better. Also consult a psychiatrist for treatment. Medicines like Mirtazapine, Paroxetine etc can help in improvement of symptoms of depression as well as will also help in sleep also. Visit a psychiatrist for prescription.

Thanks, hope this helps you.
