How Can Lactose Intolerance Be Treated?

I have a daughter with a SEVERE dairy allergy. One of the meds included in her upcoming wisdom teeth procedure is Decadron. I can only find while searching the internet, information about it as a tablet. As a tablet it says there is a lactose component. I m concerned she might have a reaction. Should I be?

Though there is no cure for lactose intolerance, various treatments may help you safely consume milk products. Dietary supplements containing lactase may help you digest lactose if the tablets is taken immediately after consuming dairy.
