I find myself coughing .... I have this about a week now, is it urgent to see a Dr. if it s not completely better? What s best to treat it?

If you have shouted a lot recently or talked for long hours repeatedly recently you may have developed what are called the 'singer's nodes' on your vocal chords. Otherwise there's nothing to worry. It may be some inflammation because of minor viral infection and will go away on its own.
Warm saline gargles with a tablet of soluble aspirin in the glass of waster may help further.
