Hi Dr. I got angry and shouted at the top of my voice, 4 days later my wife asked me to pour household bleach (Parazone) on the patio to clean it, i then hosed it down, after a neighbor spoke to me I then noticed that my pitch of voice wasn't the same tomorrow will be 2 weeks since i used the bleach, will my normal voice ever come back. I am worried now! Was it my screaming and shouting, because i didn't notice my voice change till that time.
PS. I don't sleep well. (Thank you)
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
Your larynx examination is needed in the form of indirect laryngoscopy examination. According to the examination, further workup can be planned. If laryngitis present, then short-term Betamethasone, like steroid course can be prescribed to relieve inflammation. If any growth found, then get it removed. Consult otorhinolaryngologist for examination.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
