How Can Leg Cramps Be Treated While On Nifedipine?

I take Nifedipine but not to lower my blood pressure. 30 mg daily of nifedipine. I take it to relax the sphinctor muscle in my esophagus. My blood pressure was already low before taking it and now it s usually 100/54. Should I not take magnesium supplements. I get leg cramps so thought is might be shy on the magnesium in my body.
