Hi I had inflammatory stage 3 breast cancer, chemo, mastectomy and radiotherapy 11 years ago. Unfortunately this recurred last year and I was given chemo again. Now my breast seems to be out in lichen planus. Is this anything to worry about. Waiting for a consultation at breast clinic. I am on metformin, tamoxifin, xgeva injections monthly, calchachew vitamin D+ and atorvastatin
As a first line management you can try low potency steroid creams like Betamethasone for symptomatic relief. If symptoms persist, it is better to consult a dermatologist and get evaluated.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
