How Can Liver Cirrhosis Be Treated?
My brother had triple bypass 10 years ago and now found out his liver is damaged. He was told that they can not do anything for him. They took away some of the heart medication. Survival rate is 5 to 10 years. He is 48 yrs and about 269 lbs. is this true where they do not give any thing for the liver? Cann you please advise

Liver cirrhosis is a terminal illness and only curative option is liver transplantation. That too is risky because of his cardiac problems.
Consult a gastroenterologist and get evaluated. We can go for supportive measures to prolong longevity.
Avoid alcohol and hepatotoxic substance.
