How Can Liver Swelling Be Reduced?

bilirubin level is increasing on every test ( more than 3 test in the span of 3 weeks)around 1500(1200>>1400>1500) now,but SGPT is coming down(166 now), [for hepatitis B diagnosed...]..is it ok?....how much time does it take to settle down the liver swelling?

Hi thanks for contacting HCM...

You have diagnosed with hepatitis b infection...

I initial phase hepatitis increased In severity...
Gradually with time and by our immunity hepatitis going to be decreasing...
Here you need is to rest liver by taking low fat diet....
Excess fried food avoided.

Sugarcane juice , apple juice and grape juice helpful in jaundice....
Take one tsp carom And cumin seed with water daily in morning for few fays...

Avoid strenous work by taking rest....
Some good food for liver taken like ....
-papaiya
-carrot
-dandelion
-aloe vera
-lemon juice
-golden seal etc...

It will take two month minimum for full recovery..
After six month repeat HBSag detection to rule out chronic case.

Take care.
