How Can Low BP Along With Body Tremors Be Treated?

I changed medication from Atenenol to Metapropol 25 mg every 12 hours to control palpitations. I had a heart rate in the low 50s. The palpitations seemed to be controlled on the Atenenol, but since changing to Metapropol two days ago my heart rate went up to 90 and my blood pressure has gone down to 108/71, usually at 130/84. I am feeling shaky and tired with a tight band around my head. Atenenol is not available. What should I do? Am I ok to wait and see my doctor tomorrow? YYYY@YYYY

Hello,

I think he will decrease the dose of Metoprolol or shift you to a new drug. I think the problem is arising with the low blood pressure only. That is why you are feeling shaky.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
