My 95 year old mother is visiting from England - going back on Saturday. I just took her BP and it is very low - just 95/55. Her pulse is 90. She was recently hospitalized because of low sodium chloride-her potassium was OK. She also had a nasty virus and she was put on prednisone, with just a couple of days left to take. She is currently taking Bisoprol Fumarate - 20 mg a day Losartan Potassium - 100 mg a day Torsemide - 10 mg a day Eliquis - 2.5 mg twice a day She is feeling OK, just a little tired. Doesn t seem dizzy. Are there any changes that could be made to the medication that would raise the BP and lower her pulse?
