Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have undergone CABG in Feb 2015. My EF was just 14% at that time. Gradually, it went up to nearly 30%. Now when checked last week, it just 15% only. I am on cardace 5 mg/ 2.5 mg, ecosprin 75, clopid 75, sotalar 40, (bds), digoxin 5 days a week. Can you suggest something to improve the EF.
Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic. I can understand your concern. I have gone through the drug list you have mentioned. All these are cardiac drugs and help in maintaining good cardiac health and ejection fraction. Apart from this, low dose diuretic is also advisable to prevent pre load on heart. Walking is also beneficial to strengthen heart. Yoga and pranayam are also good in increasing ejection fraction. Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.
