How Can Low Libido Be Treated?

Hello I am female in my late teens and ever since the start of depo prevera I have been experiencing many side effects such as loss of sexual desire. It’s taken a toll on my long term relationship and I need advice to fix the problem. I am on the pill now as of 2 months ago but nothing has changed.

Hello,

Even after withdrawal of Depot proverbs. The hormone still lingers in blood for a long time (6 months to 1.5 years depending on duration of use of the drug).

So, menstrual cycle takes long time to regular use with proper hormonal pattern. This may cause loss of libido.

You should wait for automatic setting of periods, vitamin E intake 400 mg daily would help.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
