How Can Lumbar Strain Causing Leg And Ankle Pain Be Treated?

I am a 55 yr. old male 5'9'' 198 lbs. I had a severe Lumbar strain 7 mo. ago. It still bothers me a whole lot where i am not able to work. the pain is worse when i stand in one position, sitting on a chair, riding in a car every bump is felt and it hurts alot. I cant bend over very far.pain runs behind my legs down to my ankles.
