Hi,
I am sorry to know the condition of your husband and so I can understand the agony that you are going through.
Lymphoma is a cancer of the lymph nodes and lymphatic system.
Although there are several treatment options for lymphoma such as radioimmunotherapy, direct administration of synthetic antibodies, steroids etc. but as your husband already suffers from lung cancer, the doctor has chosen chemotherapy as it is an aggressive treatment for lymphoma.
Please feel free to ask another question.
Thanks,
Dr.Prabhas
