How Can Macular Degeneration Be Treated?

i m told I have macular degeneration with a wrinkled retina. an area eye doctor/surgeon says it can be operated on bu the outcome may not be much better than now. my ?s--how much worse and how fast will it get? I am the soul caretaker for my wife and brother in law and MUST continue to be able to see/drive. BTW--I m almost 85 yrs old.

it can be treated by taking antioxident and omega 6.foveal reflex should be seen no operation is possible.steroid injection in intra vetrious can be given it can be dry wet or age related. for all prognosis is bed only recomandation are advisable. antivgf therapy is some time recomanded
