Hello dear I understand your concern You have 28-30 days period. Postponement of period is more successful then prepone the period. Take following advise for prepone the period: Tablet containing norethisterone 5 mg twice daily should be used. Start 10 days before expected period date. Take it for 4 days. After stopping drugs period will occur in next 3-5 days. If taken close to the expected period then it may not be able to delay the period. Its ok to take this option occasionally but not regularly as it will lead to irregular periods further. Do discuss with your treating family doctor for the prescription. Hope this may help you Best regards Dr. Sagar
