How Can Menstruation Which Is Irregular And Odd Be Treated?

Hello, I am 37 years old, 5'6"tall, and weigh about 180lbs. I have three kids. History premature labor, incompetent cervic, eclampsia(?). During my 4th pregnancy I started spotting at the emergency I was told there werent heart tones two days later I miscarriage. I had a D&C a month later birth control shot and two months later my tubes tied. I bleed for six months after and two years later my cycles arent normal. Its heavy sometimes, other times it last only a day, I skip months and sometimes the blood seems old whats wrong?
