How Can Minimal Scoliosis Be Treated?

My 18 year, 9 mos old son was just diagnosed with minimal scoliosis by the pediatrician he has seen since birth (after he referred for x-ray panel for scoliosis). He is not experiencing a growth spurt. In fact, he is all but done going (6 3.5 ). Should I assume this is a new change in his spine? Will this continue to worsen?
