How Can Mouth Ulcers Be Treated?

Hi, I have a few mouth ulcers at the moment as I am a bit run down, and I have noticed that the lower gums are rough and textured and a bit dry, I m thinking my body is trying to tell me that I am lacking some type of vitamin or something? any ideas... I drink a fair amount of water everyday thanks
